When a job seeker submits his or her resume, which allows CareerJump to endorse them for a potential job or career opportunity, residential address, mobile and home numbers, gender, date of birth and email address will be considered personal information.

A. General information

Personal information includes:

• Residential address
• Contact numbers (mobile / home)
• Email address
• Gender
• Date of birth

CareerJump submits profiles to our clients (employers) without the job seeker's personal information as stated above. Only after being interviewed by the client (employer) will CareerJump share information, should there be a need for the client to coordinate with the job seeker directly. CareerJump will do so only with the job seeker's consent.

All other information provided to CareerJump will be shared with the employer if necessary for the completion of the hiring process, including but not limited to: basic salary and allowances (compensation package and benefits), application form, assessment tests (if any) and pre-employment requirements.

On several occasions CareerJump conducts character reference checks for the completion of the hiring process as required by the client (employer). All contact details of the references provided by the job seeker will be kept solely for character reference purposes and will be done only with the consent of the job seeker and the references. Collected information will be treated with utmost confidentiality.

B. Gathering information

CareerJump is a talent search organization. Our recruiters use all legal and possible means to search for quality candidates to be endorsed to our clients (employers) for hiring. With this, recruiters get in touch with professionals who might be interested in certain job vacancies. Recruiters message potential candidates through social media, professional groups and professional connections so they can tap a wider scale of quality candidates.

CareerJump treats each message, phone call, email or any other means of communication with utmost confidentiality to ensure a professional atmosphere is maintained. CareerJump is open for suggestions and assistance should the need arise.

We may collect personal information through:

• Social media platforms
• Professional group platforms (LinkedIn and similar)
• Personal and professional connections

C. Sharing personal information

Personal information of job seekers will be shared with our client (employer) only if needed and with consent. In some cases the client (employer) may already have the job seeker's contact number or personal information from their interview, where the job seeker accomplished an application form.

D. Third party

CareerJump does not share personal information with any third party for marketing, lead generation or any other purpose. All collected information is solely for recruitment. CareerJump secures consent and provides important details to job seekers before endorsing them to our client (employer).

• Company name
• Location
• Salary range
• Job description (if applicable)
• Client / company website

E. Your rights

You have the right to access and correct your personal information, as well as the right to lodge a complaint before the National Privacy Commission.

The personal information gathered will be kept in our file for as long as the company is in existence. CareerJump shall use this information to get in touch with job seekers about any potential job vacancies they may be interested in.
