Brief Job Description:
The Information Technology Manager (ITM) reports to the Regional IT Director and is accountable for Territory Support and IT Services which typically include the following activities:
Territory Support:

- Manage country IT resources and ensure linkage with global initiatives
- Communicate and implement IT strategy at a territory level in support of the business strategy
- Become a Business Relationship Manager (BRM) for requests that need IT solutions
- Create country IT budgets in collaboration with the local CFO and CEO
- Articulate investment requests and review them with Regional IT Director
- Manage local vendor relationships
- Ensure adherence to global processes and policies (security, retention etc.)
- Implement locally global initiatives
IT Services:

- Deliver and support all end user devices (PCs, Smartphones, tablets, etc.)
- Maintain an inventory of all end user and in country fieldwork devices
- Ensure quality and timely IT services are delivered to end users
- Liaise with Operations for deployment and support of fieldwork devices
- Be responsible for all local IT assets and license purchases and installations
- Ensure licensing compliance with global and local vendors through regular audits
- Manage incidents, issues, change while reporting on global KPIs and user pulse
- Ensure adoption of new tools, applications and technologies
Qualifications:
- Preferably graduate of Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering and/or any management qualification;
- At least 6 to 7 solid years of overall IT experience and at least more than 2 years in a managerial role;
- Should have some hands-on technical experience;
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Servers and basic networking;
- Information security awareness, adaptability to change and works as a partner with the business;
- Has a strong sense of urgency, is responsive and adheres to timelines;
- Has excellent negotiating skills.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Very service oriented. Knows very well that the position is a “Support” function; thus, he/she is hired to provide services to either internal or external clients.
- Proactive. Need not to wait for follow-up or his/her attention to be called.
- Accountable. Does not provide lame excuses for things undone and is always after resolving issues caused by either his own negligence or by circumstance.
- Very keen on observing cleanliness of work area and surroundings.
- Thinks of solution rather than the problem.
- Is punctual.
- Does not mind to roll up his/her sleeves just to get things done on-time or best in advance.
- Is people oriented. Knows that part of being an IT Manager is to know and get to know all employees in order to provide better services.
